Little Makers and Big Makers are creative and fun English immersion programs, using hands-on activities to facilitate English language learning. Each term we explore different themes through art activities, games, songs and stories, and we allow the students to explore both the themes and the English language at their own pace.

With this method, the students actively participate in their language learning process and have fun!

The Makers program focuses primarily on speaking and English comprehension, while building the students’ vocabulary and general fluency in a natural way.

4 to 6 year olds (P4 - 1r)

We capture the attention of our Little Makers through a wide variety of activities in a dynamic and fun environment.

Our focus is on natural language acquisition and we achieve this through creating learning environments and experiences revolving around the English themes we’re exploring so that the children receive the repetition needed to acquire new vocabulary while being given the space for open-ended art, play and learning.

Mondays: 16:45 - 18:00 and also at 18:00 - 19:15

Tuesdays: 17:45 - 19:00

Thursdays: 17:45 - 19:00

7 to 9 year olds (2n - 4t)

Older Big Makers students actively participate in creative, hands-on projects based around projects that last between 4 and 6 weeks.

With this age our focus is on taking the step towards being able to speak in full sentences, and we encourage this process by focusing on activities that challenge their creative and problem-solving skills, thus giving them an avenue and motivation to actively participate and build on their knowledge.

Some students at this age are ready to begin basic reading and writing, so we adapt to each student’s, and group’s, abilities and needs. Grammar skills and vocabulary are introduced in blocks depending on the projects as well as their needs and abilities.

Mondays: 18:00 - 19:15

Wednesdays: 17:45 - 19:00

Fridays; 16:30 - 17:45
